Portrait of Johannes Burke

Background

I began my career in learning and organizational development with a regional focus on Southeast Asia. Between 2011 and 2022 I lived and worked in Vietnam as an L&D specialist and organizational developer. The work sat at the intersection of technology enablement and learning management systems — much of it in markets where the tooling, the infrastructure, and the training models had to be built before they could be inherited.

Since 2022 I have held the role of Technical Organizational Developer at IONOS in Karlsruhe. The role spans three connected areas: producing eLearning content; delivering enablement programs across technology and artificial intelligence; and designing agentic AI workflows and orchestrations, alongside operational automations built on n8n.

Cynex is the public expression of that practice. It is a small, headless learning platform — built without inheriting the friction of a conventional LMS — intended as evidence that organizational development teams can ship their own tooling.

How I work

eLearning production

Courseware that ships to learners, not decks that sit in shared drives.

AI enablement

Practical AI organizational transformation management (OD, L&D, HR).

Workflow & automation

Agentic workflows and n8n automations to automate processes & scale efficiency.

Workshop facilitation

Live hands-on sessions that get teams practicing AI, not talking about AI.
